About Parkour
Parkour is the precision entry in the dodge family. The obstacles are the same three shapes as elsewhere — a low rail to vault, an overhead beam to duck, a solid block to go around — but every window you have to work in is shorter.
The vault lasts 560 milliseconds against Endless Runner's 640 and Skateboard's 760. The slide is 460 against 540. The lane change is the quickest of the four at 120 milliseconds. Nothing here is forgiving, and nothing here is slow. The courses are the shortest in the family — 500 to 1,500 metres — and by some way the densest, roughly twice the hazards per hundred metres that the skateboard meets. The mix leans toward overhead beams and solid blocks, the two that punish a mistimed answer hardest.
What that adds up to is a game about timing rather than reaction. Spamming the vault button does not work, because you cannot vault again in the air and you cannot switch to a slide midway. You have to read the shape, pick the answer and land it on the beat. Play free in your browser on touch or keyboard, across eight levels.
Controls
The run accelerates on its own, faster here than in the other dodge games. All you choose is the answer to what's in front of you, and when.
Swipe pad on a phone, arrow keys on a laptop:
- Change lane swipe left or right, or press ← → / A D. The quickest lane change in the category at 120ms — and it still can't be cancelled once started.
- Vault swipe up, tap the track, or press ↑ / W / Space. Clears the low rails. The shortest airtime of the four runners, so mistime it and you land on the rail.
- Slide swipe down, or press ↓ / S. Ducks under the overhead beams, and the shortest slide window in the category.
- Pause the Pause button, or Esc / P. The run also pauses if you switch tabs.
Solid blocks are immune to both the vault and the slide. Change lane or stop.
One hit ends the run. No lives, no checkpoints.
You can't vault twice in the air, and you can't switch from a vault to a slide midway. The choice is made once.
Tips
- Vault late, not early The airtime here is the shortest of the four runners. Going early means landing on the rail rather than beyond it — wait a beat longer than instinct says.
- The fast lane change is your safety net At 120ms you can move later than in any other game in the category. When a shape is ambiguous, sidestep it — you have time to do that here that you wouldn't on a skateboard.
- Don't spam the button You can't vault while airborne, so extra presses do nothing except take your attention off the next shape. One deliberate input per obstacle.
Frequently asked questions
How is Parkour harder than Endless Runner?
Every window is shorter: a 560ms vault against 640, a 460ms slide against 540, and a faster acceleration curve. Same three obstacle types, far less margin.
Can I vault over everything?
No. Vaulting clears low rails only. Overhead beams have to be slid under, and solid blocks can't be vaulted or slid at all.
How many lives do I get?
One. A single hit ends the run and you restart the level.
Is the rooftop route ever impossible?
No. A row never blocks every lane, so there's always a way through — but with the tightest timing in the category, you have less time to find it.
Can I play Parkour on my phone?
Yes. Swipe left/right to change lane, up to vault, down to slide, or tap to vault. Any modern mobile browser, no download.
